Show Thursday, November 1, 1954 1 THE SUN-ADVOCA- BETA SIGMA LADIES LEARN MANNERS Manners of introduction was the lesson given to members of Upsi-lo- n Chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi at their last meeting held the 28th of October. The lesson was given by Margaret Christensen and Beverly Giacoletto. They emphasized especially the introduction of guest speakers. They also pointed out the proper dress and manners that should be used by those sitting on the platform. PRICE WOMANC CLUB NEWS Civil defense was the title of the interesting program presented last to the Price Womans Club by Josephine Gardner and Maxine Blas-e- r. The next meeting is slated for November 18 and it will be the showing of Indian lore. lone Anderson and Leah Chandler are in charge. Guests are invited to come out and enjoy the program. HEAR MUSICAL REVIEW A large number of friends and parents gathered at the Price Fourth ward chapel recently to hear the musical recital given by the intermediate students of Mrs. Clara Thompson. The program was to a good start when the Harmonettes sang two numbers. The remainder of the program included a vocal duet by Karen Stoker and Vickie Ungerman; piano solos, Karen Stoker, Tina Burnham, Marianne Patterick, Mona Rae McAllister, Linda Gam-besong, Tanra Jones; piano, John Kilfoyle, Marcia Snow, Billy Arthur, Judy Brienholt, Carol Childs; song. Lucille Allred; piano, Ddrothy Whiting, Diana Snow, Phyllis Alexander, Gaye Lambert, Douglas Johnson; song, Douglas Johnson; piano, Sandra Scartizina, Barbara Nielson, Barbara Roper, Vickie Ungerman, Jean Ann Howa, and Linda Thompson; piano duet, Phyllis Axelander and Gaye Lambert. The entertaining program was concluded with a piano and organ duet by Linda Thompson and Diana Snow. These women were Minnie Lodeserto, Eva Miller, Afton Massey and Marie Mills. Following the meeting a banquet was served. The new members were terated by the Temple. On November 17, the Carbon and Sterling Temples will have a joint visitation from Grand Chief Grace Douglas at which time they will receive a school of instruction.
