Show Thursday, November 11, 1954 THE Elk Hunts Open Saturday Morn The Carbon high school Dinosaurs finished out the 1954 football season in a blaze of glory last Thursday when they came from behind to whip the Olympus in Salt Lake City. crew, The Dinosaurs had to work much harder in gaining the victory because of fumbles, the weakness which has plagued the Carbon gang all season. It was two such miscues that set up the two Titan TDs in the first half and forced the Dinosaurs to fight back in the second period. The Carbon line was more than the Titans could handle and they were forced to go into the air for their two tallies, both with Kent Clark hitting Phil Newberg. The Gustas - Rodriquez combination flared up now and again and tallied a TD in the closing minutes of the first half to make the halftime score 13 to 7. In the third period the Dinosaurs plugged over and on a fake place kick passed for the extra point to make it 14-1- this one day public meeting.
