Show Thursday, October 28, 1954 THE OLD COUNTRY COSTUMES APPEAR AT BETA SIGMA PHI In Span They Say Si Si, In France They Say Oui Oui, Every Little Russian says Da Da, Every Little Dutch Girl Says Va Ya." These words of a lilting song were used in the unusual imitations sent to the rushees of the Upsilon chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi inviting them to a party held in their honor Thursday, October 21, in the dining room of the civic auditorium. Each girl was asked to wear a costume representing her ancestors and bring a covered dish that her grandmother might have made. The costumes which appeared were most unusual and amusing, representing such countries as Greece, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Austria, Ireland and Scotland. A couple who were a little confused as to their ancestry came as an aborigine and a grandmother. The prize for the most authentic costume was awarded to merriment wherever they went. Candy wrapped as gold coins was the reward for the hunt. Dinner included everything from saur-kraand wieners to pizza pie. The social committee, headed by Donna Shimmin, was in charge of the party, assisted by the membership committee which is composed of Dorothy Bunnell, chairman, and Agnes Kandaris and Donna Lou Mullins. The rushees honored at the party were Beth Wardle, Rosalyn Lucille Salzman, Purcell and Katherine Averill. ut Noted Chiropractor, Lecturer and Health Authority a special clinic at the Huntington Legion Hall, Saturday, October 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call Huntington, Emery County, 2461 for personal appointments. will conduct FREE PUBLIC LECTURE ON A Monster of Civilization 8:15 p.m. PRICE Ready-to-Ye- TRADING COMPANY Department ar Snys: your Beauty Zone can be far more youthful and alluring with Page Five Agnes Kandaris or her Grecian WELLINGTON GLEANER outfit and Annabelle Holdaways SHEAF BINDING CEREMONY Danish costume was judged most Members of the Wellington Secoriginal.
