Show Thursday, May 29, 1952 THE SOCIETY and CLUB NOTES Last Roundup Party Features Fun With A Western Theme The Dansante Dancing club rustled up fun with a western flavor at the gala Last Round-u- p dinner dance staged Saturday night at the Country club. The chuck wagon, a camp fire with iron kettle and coffee pot and improvised horses portrayed the tempes-tou- s western atmosphere. Arranged cabaret style, tables were decorated with distinctive western covers with .the brand of the "last round-u- p ranch" around the border. Mrs. Bean also her committee, Mrs. introduced Walt Maynard, Mrs. Louise Tat-to- n, Mrs. Belmont Richards, Mrs. Mike Camber, Mrs. Ferris Evans and Mrs. Byron Thompson who assisted with the evenings entertainment. New Dansante officers elected at the party include: Mrs. George 'Wallace, president; E. L. Davis, vice president; Ross Boyack, secretary and treasurer; Mrs. Dee Bertelsen, program chairman; directors, Mrs. F. R. Gudmundson, Mrs. Perry Codington and Isaac McQueen. The party was the final social affair for the dancing club until fall when it will again be round- -, up time for Dansante. WOMENS CLUB CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY A 'beautifully appointed tea was enjoyed Saturday evening by East Carbon Business and Professional Womens Club members and guests as they commemorated the clubs fourth birthday. Mrs. Hazel Morgan was general chairman for the affair, and was assisted by Mrs. A. W. Dodds, and Mrs. B. Klos-te- r. Mrs. Kloster also announced the program members. The program began with group singing of God Bless America; then Miss Patricia McCourt sang ac"Kiss Me, and Jealousy, companied by Miss Marilyn All-re- d; a humorous reading "Brotherly Love was given by Miss Maand vocal solo, rion Larsen; Waiting For The Sunrise, by Mrs. Maiy Worthington. SHIRLEY WRIGHT, LOUIS UNGARO RECITE VOWS Miss Shirley Wright of Ipswich, Engaland, became the bride of Louis Ungaro in ceremonies performed in the Good Shepherd Church in Dragerton Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Collette attended the pair as they spoke their vows. The bride wore a ballerina length gown of white satin trimmed in lace with cap sleeves and a peter pan collar. Her veil was shoulder length and she carried a bouquet of Camillas and carnations. Attached to her bouquet was a nuptial charm brought from England, a small silver horse shoe with a wedding ibell and lilies of the valley. Mrs. Coriila Stewart, retiring president; and Mrs. Arvilla King, the clubs member of the year, each were presented with a lovely corsage by Mrs. Morgan. Delicious refreshments were served buffet style from a charmingly arranged serving table. Every detail of the table setting was centered from the tall gold and green candles in crystal holders to the beautifully decorated birthday cake and huge floral center piece.
