J. Sweetring presiding. According to investigating officers who were assisted by County Attorney A. John Rugger! and Judge Sweetring who serves as coroner, they received a call about 9:00 p.m. The injured woman was rushed to the hospital where she died some two hours later. An aunt, Mrs. Lucille Simonsen of Salina, and two young chilar old daughdren, one the ter of the dead woman, were in the house at the time the shot was fired. The womans husband was in his car outside the house at the time, officers stated. The shot was fired from a .22 caliber pistol. Burglars gained entrance into the Vern Davis Motor company and the Ostler Motor company, both garages in east Price, and absconded with some cash from the Ostler building and auto accessories and supplies from both. Investigating officers reported a pinch bar was used to gain entrance through the rear and the break-i- n was similar to the one at Keller Food Market the week before and some other more recent robberies in the city.
