The special election was ordered by the international board of the UMW or A meeting in Washington, D. C., the latter part of April on the basis of reports from an investigating committee which had been sent to the two-sta- te area to probe into charges and counter-chargof voting and counting irregularities in the election of last October. Henry Allai of the UMW of A international election commission was head of the investigating group and he is inalso chairman of the two-mternational election supervisory commission in- - the area to take charge of the new election. John Kemetz, president of District One in Scran mn, Pennsylvania, is the other member of the election commission. He was also a member of the three-ma- n investigating committee which was in the area the early part of this year. The third man on the probing committee was Charles Funcannon of District 11 in Indiana. He is not a member of the election board. Hanson following the meeting of a delegation of parents and representatives of civic organizations with the city council Monday evening. The delegation, armed with a petition signed by 152 Price citizens, wa3 emphatic in its demands that something be done by the city to prevent another tragedy like the one which claimed the life of Peggy Ann Patterson, 2i2-yeold daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Patterson, last Thursday morning. They embarked in private cars for the Carbon Country club to attend a specially arranged breakfast. The visiting group, composed of Salt Lake City business leaders, are touring central and southern Utah on a good-wi- ll trip. They were met here by Carbons high school band, complete with drum majors, welcome signs and an enthusiastic cheering section along the route. They had previously stopped off at Helper. At the breakfast meeting Henry H. Mills, president of the Price Chamber of Commerce, acted as master of the ceremonies. A talk was given by Mayor A. D.
