A similar order was issued in March, to take effect April 1, but dairymen were granted a months deferment, on account of time required to procure new labels and other conditions. This work has been postponed until July 1. The local milk situation is complicated, according to Mr. Grange, by 3,600 to 4,000 quarts of milk being shipped here daily and mixed with Carbon county milk before bottled. Some of the latter is Grade A, but cannot be labeled as such after being mixed with lower grade milk.
