V al First Baptist Church of Centerfield hosts revivals First Baptist Church of Centerfield will host a series of Revival Meetings during the week of June 20th through 25th. The featured speaker will be the Reverend Billy Turner from Kentucky. Reverend Turner had pastured churches in Kentucky for 38 years before receiving a call to enter full time evangelism work. Pastor Tumer will be accompanied by his won, Steve Turner, who is presently working with youth groups in Tennessee. Steve plays the guitar and will be in charge of the musical program during the meetings. Pastor Turner will bring the message at the regular 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, June 20. The evening meetings will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday of that week. The public is cordially invited to attend. El wood and Julia Sorenson traveled to Boulder City last week to be there while their little granddaughter Lindee Lee Sorenson had surgery. She is the daughter of Paul and Tyron Sorenson and is doing well following the operation. On Saturday Julia and Elwood attended the Manti Temple Wedding for a niece and were in Wayne County int he afternoon and evening for the dinner and reception. Lois Jackson and her daughter Andrea of Salt Lake visited Friday night and Saturday with Essie and LeNoir Sorenson. Tammie Sittre was home for the weekend after graduating Magna Cum laude from Dixie College last week. She visited her parents Keith and Leah Bird and grandmother Edith Sorenson.
