Steve Dewey, Extension Weed Specialist gave an update on herbicides, and reminded us that the com herbicides Lasso, Tandem and Surpass were no longer available, but there are others that have similar uses. Atrazine is still registered for use in com, but is now a restricted chemical and as such requires certification of the applicator.
