A lesson was given by Tammy Johnson on home repairs and Bonnie Peterson gave her lesson on home storage. A mini class was held on cake decorating by Lori Dumas and Sherrie Coates. Two quilts were tied and a luncheon was served. A nursery was also provided. Micheal Pickett, son of Jerry and Eva Mae Pickett has recently returned home from serving a mission forthe LDS Church. He served part of his time in Columbia and the remaining time in Texas. Family and friends from here that were at the airport to welcome him home were Mr. and Mrs. Bronzel Pickett, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Pickett and of course Micheals family, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pickett and his sisters. Girls day was held at the North Sevier High School Monday. Some s. of the Jr. Girls modeled their Three couples demonstrated the Jr. Prom dance and talks were given by Joan and Brook Curtis. A luncheon was served and the mothers and special guests were given flowers. Patsy Hampton and son Jeremy have recently returned from spending some time in California. Jeremy participated in the special Olympics. They also spent some time at Magic Mountain. Mr. and Mrs. UDell Johnson were in Salt Lake City this weekend visiting with family and friends. They were present for the ordination of Matthew Hansen, son of Valerie and Terry Hansen to the office of a Deacon. Mothers day is always a day when many family members are in our town to visit and pay respect to their mothers and loved ones, and this year has been no exception.
