The Family Home Evening Club met at the home of Cheryl Huntsman to exchange projects and ideas. Visiting Vilate LJoyd have been Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Lloyd, of Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Jesston Anderson received word of the birth of their 6th great grandchild, Maria Camille Dale. She wa born May 1st at Utah Valley Hospital, Provo to Mr. and Mrs. TJ. Dale. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Huntsman and family enjoyed a picnic with Cheryl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garth Michaelson, at Capitol Reef. Ryan Huntsman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Huntsman celebrated his 6th birthday April 30, 19H6, with a party at the City Park. Mr. and Mrs. Wayland Shaw went to Lyman to attend the blessing of their granddaughter, Rachel Sawyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tye (DeAnn) Sawyer. Shaylyn Huntsman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shane Huntsman, was baptized May 3, 1966 at the Salina Stake Center by her uncle, Lynn Huntsman. She was confirmed May 4th, in the Aurora 1st Ward services by Mike Shaw. Attending the baptism were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Huntsman and family, Cheryls Aunt Elan and cousin Tammy Beach, both Salina. The family held a dinner to honor Shaylyn after the services. Amanda Tuft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Tuft was baptized May 3rd at the Salina Stake Center, by her father. She was confirmed May 4th in the Aurora 1st Ward by her father. Attending were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesston Anderson, Aurora, and Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Tuft, Monroe. A family dinner was held at the Tuft home afterwards, attended by the family, her grandparents and Mary Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Freeby, Richfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Lloyd and family, Aurora. Anderson received his Sliver Beaver Award on Apnl 19, 1986 at the Annual Fellowship Recognition Banquet in lYovo. Nathan is presently registered as District Commissioner in Fish-lak- e District. Their teacher, Connie Bills, gave them the award. Visiting Vontess Jensen were Mr. and Mrs. Powell Johnson and son, Jeff, of Murray. They also attended a missionary farewell for Kevin Thompson, son of Ardell Thompson, Richfield. Veda Jensen suffered a stroke and was in the Gunnison Valley Hosp-pita- l. A family get to gether was held after the meeting. Velma and Philo Rasmussen attended a Day Family reunion at the Lion House in Salt Lake. Parents from Redmond Elementary over-nig- who helped include Sandra Nielsen, Alan Peterson, Susan Bosshardt and Susan Monk. The children were asked to read for a half hour three different times, and then a movie was shown before bedtime. Christopher Ball, son of Kenny and Stephanie Ball took 2nd place in the Pine Wood Derby held in Richfield Saturday at the Scout A Rama. Chris will now race in the state meet in Provo. Roxanne Johnson was hostess to her club Wednesday evening. The ladies enjoyed refreshments and played Mormon Rook. The scouts held a fund raining project last week. Jolene Willardson hosted a birthday party for her daughter Shara, Saturday. The kids watched a video, and saw a puppet show before having refreshments. RaeDean Farrington was guest of honor at a party given by her mother, Gayla. Games were played and refreshments were enjoyed by all. Visiting Ray and Gayla Farrington were Rick and Paula Brown and children, of Orem. Nora Hansen returned to Redmond after spending some time in Logan. All her brother and sisters were there. They have information whi 'h can benefit both the land and stream fishery resources. Landowners can save money using techniques other than traditional dredging and channeling projects. Dredging can keep working in the streams for years, fixing problems caused by the original work. An added benefit is preserving the beauty of the streambanks and the streams. Information on the necessary permits for stream alteration work is also available.
