The 1984 Tax Reform Act has made it possible for a majority of the employees, as well as the owner, to petition for a reduction of the percentage. This percentage may be as low as 2 percent if the establishment can justify it by showing an unusually small tipping rate. The written petition should be sent to the Director of Internal Revenue Service in your district with a copy of Form 8027 from last year, and any other information that will help show the reason for the lower percentage For more information get the free IRS publication 531 Reporting Income From Tips di vofifa Ifarludc Fafrrtl haktili!)
