| Show LADIES AUXILIARY continued from a previous issue BYLAWS BY LAWS 1 all officers shall present written reports of their official acts and make such inch recommendations as they deem proper at the annual meeting before their successors are elected 2 special meetings may be called by the president or any len ten members 3 the president shall preside at all meetings of the auxiliary in the absence of the president and vice president a meeting of the auxiliary may elect its own presiding officer the president shall sign all written contracts and obligations of the auxiliary shall countersign all checks and perform such other duties as the association may direct in case of the absence or disability of the president the duties of her office shall be performed by the vice president 4 the secretary shall keep the minutes and records of the auxiliary and under direction ot of the association shall chave have charge of any property that the association may acquire she he shall collect the fees and dues of tl members and other debts due the club and account tor for the same she shall turn all funds over to the treasurer monthly taking her receipt she shall make a financial report at each monthly meeting of the association sec 1 1 I it shall be the duty of the assistant secretary to work under the direction of the secretary and in the absence of the secretary shall perform the secre duties 5 the treasurer shall receive and keep in her custody the funds of the auxiliary belonging to the general fund paying same out only on warrants of the secretary countersigned counter signed by the president and shall render report at each annual meeting and at such other time as the president of the association may require 6 membership Members bip this organization shall be composed of active members residing in the city of brigham and associate members in box elder coun county ty it shall consist of ladies interested in the commercial development of this city and county new members may be added to the club upon the written recommendation of any member submitted d to and voted upon by ballot of the members tt J V t ja of said association DUES 8 the monthly dues for or such membership shall be 10 cents payable monthly in advance associate members shall pay monthly dues of 10 cents each payable as above delinquents 9 all dues and indebtedness in burred cur jy any member to the club snail shail become due and payable on the 2nd and thursday of each month if any member shall neglect to pay her dues or other indebtedness to the association on or before the succeeding meeting day her name shall be presented before the delinquent board all such members wishing to be reinstated must apply as new members dismissals 10 any member may te censured suspended or expelled for cause by a vote of two thirds of the delinquent board after notification of preferred charges said members having the privilege of being present in person or by proxy at this hearing resignation I 1 11 I 1 resignation of merr membership barship shall be made to the secretary in writing such resignation shall not be accepted until all indebtedness to the club of the member resigning shall have been discharged AMENDMENT OF RULES these bylaws by laws can be altered or amended only by an affirmative vote of a majority of the members of the association present at any regular meeting provided that notice thereof had been given at the the proceeding meeting 13 A committee of five appointed by the president at each meeting shall prepare the business and social program tor for the fo lowing month |
