Robins said estimates of loan amounts needed under applications filed by Sept. 30 can be revised if necessary in the course of loan processing. In some cases, production loss this year may not be finally determined until later than Sept. 30. FmHA, the credit agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, makes farm emergency loans to cover losses resulting from designated natural disasters and help farmers restore production to predisaster conditions. Under new legislation signed into law by President Carter Aug. 4, loans not exceeding $250,000 to offset production loss from disasters occurring since last July 1 are made at an interest rate of three percent. Loss to offset that portion of actual loss exceeding $250,000 are made at an interest rate of five percent. Additional financing for production purposes, or Pastor John Lundblad, former pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran church in Brigham City, is now established in service to the Lutheran church in Jerusalem. His installation service was held on July 31, and was conducted in the three languages used in the local congregation; Arabic, English and German. It included a joint communion for making major adjustments in farming operations, is at a higher rate. Applicants must show that necessary credit is not available to them from commercial lenders serving their localities. Farmers may obtain further information or file applications at the FmHA office serving Box Elder county, located at South First East, Tremonton. 17 22, 1977 message, service in the three languages also Since their arrival, the Lund-blad- s have been busily getting acquainted with the city and the other churches and service in Jerusalem. It is a particularly interesting part of his assignment that each day brings contact with many persons and groups who are visiting Jerusalem as tourists or pilgrims . . . perhaps a group from San Francisco, a Swedish Lutheran group from Stockholm, etc. Pastor Lundblad, his wife Pam, and children Jennifer and Nathan arrived in Jerusalem on July 21 after he participated in a concentrated study period to prepare for service in this international church located in Jerusalem. They have joined the rest of the Lutheran Church of America team in the middle east and are enjoying the assignment immensely, as a recent letter to the Brigham City congregation notes: It is exciting to be part of this group of dedicated people and we are thankful that we have this opportunity to be part of the work of World mission here.
