The day of play will begin at 9 a.m., preceded with serving of coffee and nut breads at 8:30 a.m. in the clubhouse. Jill Parker and Joyce Frod-shain charge of the days play, announce there will be regular golfing with members of the Tremonton ladies auxiliary as guests. After dinner was enjoyed, a media presentation was given by Richard Bowring Watkins. He displayed a map of England in a screen showing where the family ancesters lived as far back as Sir John Bowring who was noted for being a linquist, writer and traveler. Also noted was the fact that Harry E. Bowring was called by Brigham Young to help colonize Box Elder county. He was well known in civic and drama circles as was his son Jed Bowring who followed in his fathers footsteps. Information of the Bowring genealogical research was presented by president of the family organization, Benjamin L. Bowring. There were many visitors to the reunion. He went especially to attend a w where Col. Cannon was honored and presented with a meritorious service medal by Major General Edwards. Col. Cannon is retiring after 234 years of service. He has a record of 4,000 hours flying time. He and his wife, the former Rowane Zundel and their sons David 17, Christopher 9, and Teri Lyn, 7, are now moving to Kearney, Neb. where he will join his uncle in real estate business. Douglas Cannon assisted his son and family in moving to Kearney to make their home.
