Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Stenquist accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peterson and family of Salt Lake City enjoyed Easter dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace (Patsy) Tremel-lin- g and family in Willard. Ron and Brian Crump, students at Utah State university, spent the weekend visiting their parents Mr. and Mrs. Glen Crump and family. Spending Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wheatley were Mr, and Mrs. Alan Wheatley of Salt Lake City. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Bradshaw were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Webb and two sons of Sandy and Mr. and Mrs. Sachowitz and two children of G.M. Kerr accompanied by their grandson Brandon Kerr of Logan have spent the past week in St. George as houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Kerr's son and Dr. and Mrs. daughter-in-laRolfe Kerr and family. While there they were among those who attended the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the St. George Temple and enjoyed attending a session. Members of the Tremontoq, Womens Civic league met in Ogden Thursday afternoon where they had a conducted tour of the Weber State campus. This included watching a rehearsal of the Mikado. They were privileged to go through th libraries where they saw the 1976 bicentennial collection of painting and other special collections in various sections which were outstanding. They visited the health education building and saw a demonstration at the Planitariam. Following dinner at Marie Calendars Restaurant they attended the production of the Utah Symphony at the Fine Arts Center featuring as the guest artist Lazar Berman, Russia painist. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Rogers have returned home after spending the winter months in Mesa. They stopped in Salt Lake city for a week or so to attend family reunions with relatives from Georgia and North Caroline. They also attended an Eastern States reunion. Mrs. Rogers reports while they were away they had a great granddaughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Danny Carrillo on Feb. 25 who was named Monica and a grandson born to Mr. and Mrs. Leon (Karla) Stout on March 23 who was named Kristopher Lee Stout. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers also spent a week in Brownsville, Texas where they had fulfilled an LDS mission and greatly enjoyed meeting all their old friends and neighbors. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harry Taylor last Thursday was Mari s, Roy. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chadaz along with Mr. and Mrs. Steven Quinney and family of Logan enjoyed Easter dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Chadaz in Tremonton. During the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Vance Chadaz and family of Ogden also visited at the Frank Chadaz home. Ann and Robbie Puzey of Ogden spent a few days of last week visiting their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Garland Puzey. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harry Taylor Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barnum who are attending college in Pullman, Wash. Picnic, Fish Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Castle-toMr. and Mrs. Dewayne Crompton and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Hupp enjoyed a picnic and fishing near Stone, Idaho Thursday. Saturday evening Mr. and n, r MttcM&cf, the winter Mrs. George Smith and sons Gary and Dee enjoyed a dinner party at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson and family in Logan. The party honored Miss Sandra Smith, a student at Utah State university, who was celebrating her birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davis and son Sid were in Salt Lake City Saturday where they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Jayna) Powers and son Rory, Miss Jill Davis, Lynn Gallscher and Scott Davis of Provo and attended the musical performance of Threads of Glory at the Highland High school. Mrs. and sister Davis brother-in-laJim and Ann Jenkins participated in the performance. Following the musical the group enjoyed a picnic lunch in a nearby park. Saturday Mrs. Ruth Castleton accompanied her daughter Mrs. Melva Crookston and children Emily and Mike along with Becky Crookston and Roger Macfarlane of Ogden to Cutler Dam where they enjoyed an early Easter picnic. The group were overnight guests at the Castleton home. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Jess Garfield attended the viewing in Salt Lake City for Mrs. LaRue Seager Firth. Later they visited Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Garfield. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Baer accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Max Baugh and two sons of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Hunsaker of Honeyville, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Grant, Mrs. Pearl Grant, Dave Grant, Mrs. Janice Johnson and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Wood and Miss Angela Baird of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Sharp, Mrs. Herman Theurer, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stucki of Logan enjoyed their annual Easter egg hunt, picnic, hiking and all the other fun things that goes along with Easter at Little Mountain Sunday. Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Garfield Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Albert who were enroute to their home in Belcrus, Canada Baby Shower Mrs. V.D. Bowcutt entertained at a baby shower at her home last week honoring Mrs. Lani Callister. The afternoon was spent in tying a baby quilt for the new mother. Twelve ladies attended. In the evening they were joined by their partners for a luncheon. Spending the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. William Crockett were Mrs. Crocketts parents Mr. and Mrs. Glen Randall of Pocatello. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Showell spent the weekend visiting relatives in Boise. The Literary Guild met with Mrs. Garland Puzey as hostess Tuesday evening. Mrs. Leland Harris gave an interesting review of How To Make Yourself Miserable by Dan Greenburg. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Jones and family were Mrs. Jones parents Mr. and Mrs. Jay Babcock of To- oele, Patti Jones, Cub Scout Pack 322 held its Blue and Gold dinner this past week, focusing on awards to Cubs and Webelos, An Arrow of and a cake Light ceremony auction. The event was held in the Brigham City Community cen- ter. Awards went to the following: Ricky Valesquez received the Wolf badge while a Bear and one-yeservice pin went to Alan Kallmeyer. Ricky Lawson collected three silver arrows under the Wolf, and a gold and a silver arrow under the Wolf and a one-yeservice star went to Sean Cosrove. Also, Jamie Vogt was presented a one-yeservice star. Five Webelo achievement awards each were received by Tammi Campbell, Carl Hitten and John Roberts, all students of Utah State university. A dinner was enjoyed on Easter followed by softball games. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Garland Puzey on Easter were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Puzey and daughters Michelle and Kathleen of Roy. Mr. and Mrs. Con Hansen were in Ogden last Wednesday to visit Cons sister Mrs. Alta Moore who was observing her birthday anniversary. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Ward. Attending the intercollegiate rodeo held in St. George at the Sn Bowl sponsored by the Dixie college Friday and Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Madsen and family of Tremonton, Mrs. Keith Coombs and daughter JoAnn of Fielding and Blake Lulloff of Logan. Mrs. Russell B. Waldron Brigham man Pack conducts dinner, boys receive awards months in Mesa. . . . Arrow-of-Ligh- t recipient spent Friday in American Fork visiting her sister Mrs. Harold Holley. Mrs. Lee Fuhriman, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Fuhriman and daughter Camene of Tremonton accompanied by Mrs. Peter (Joyce) Kelly of Hyrum, Mrs. Cheryl Giles and children of Salt Lake City have returned from an enjoyable short vacation in California where they went especially to attend a wedding ceremony and reception for Mrs. Fuhrimans son, Richard Fuhriman, and his new bride. The wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mendoza Saturday in Los Angeles followed by a wedding dinner and reception at the Country Club. Lincoln PTA meet is tonight The Lincoln school PTA is sponsoring a meeting Thursday (tonight) to elect new officers and hear about a proposed pornography ordinance. A PTA spokesman said the meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m Max Hamilton will be on hand to discuss the proposed ordinance on pornography, she said, afterwhich election of officers for the coming year will be held. The evening was climaxed by auctioning off cakes decorated by dads of the Cubs and City, has received a sustained superior performance award He also received an outstanding performance rating last year at this time. Collings has saved the federal government over $163,000 through suggestions and the method improvement program. He has been employed at Hill for the past 21 years. He is married to the former Raone Rader. They have four children. Parity prices topic of Friday meet at USU The impact of parity prices for agriculture will be the topic of a discussion to be held at Utah State university, Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Natural Resources Building auditorium. The guest lecturer will be Arnold Paulsen, president of te National Organization of Raw Materials (NORM). Paulsen is noted for his extensive lobbying activities in Washington with the Congress of the United States, as well as being a noted national lecturer and economist on agricultural pricing. This meeting will be of great interest to members of all farm organizations as well as all other farmers and business men who depend on agriculture for their income. Their will be no admission charged to attend the meeting which is sponsored by members of N.O.R.M. in Box Elder and Cache counties.
