Emerson Earl accompanied by her sister Mrs. Denis McDowell of Salt Lake City left the airport by plane last Thursday for Websters, Wis., to spend a week visiting and sister their brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Harry Hartlerode. Mr. and Mrs. Harlerode met the two ladies in Minneapolis and w accompanied them to Webster. Mrs. Wendell Welling is spending a few days with her and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Scott (Gloria) Holmgren in Salt Lake City where she will get acquainted with her little new granddaughter. The baby is the first child for Mt and Mrs. Holmgren. She was. born Nov. 2. The Social Development club met with Mrs. Millie Welling as son-in-la- w hostess Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Welling gave personal philosophies of Will Rogers, Abraham Lincoln, Harry Tru- man, Mary Martin and William E. Stevenson from the book n written by the commentator of radio and T.V. Edward R. Thursday Bishop and Mrs. Richard Petersen accompanied by Mrs. Donette Petersen attended funeral services for Leonard Robbins held in the GardenPark Second ward chapel in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Louise Meade and children accompanied Mrs. Petersen home Friday and remained for an overnight visit.
