Leaving Pennsylvania the Rennicks drove to Washington D.C. where they attended two sessions at the w beautiful Washington LDS Temple. They also took a five-hotour of Washington D.C. visiting all the famous historical sites. - Leaving Washington they traveled to Gettysburgh where they spent two days and toured all the historical battlegrounds there. Coming back home they stopped in Carthage and visited the Carthage Jail, then went on to Nauvoo and visited famous church historical sites. Comes Home Mrs. LaVerne Mansfield is home again after a months visit in California with her family. She visited in Coronado with her son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Sid Mansfield and family. They all traveled to San Diego and spent a weekend with a granddaughter and family. She left Coronc and flew to Oakland where she visited another son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Stan Mansfield and family. She also spent some time in Castro Valley with her daughter and family Mr. Wanda Franklin. When I talked with Mrs. Mansfield Tuesday she was glad to be back in the swing of things and said she was looking forward to August when her family would all be here to help her celebrate her birthday an- w w viversary. A yellow and peach color scheme was carried out with a beautiful arrangement of yellow and peach roses centering the table. Attend Wedding Mrs. LaVern Keyes traveled with her daughter Mrs. J. Brian (Marjorie) Whitesides of Salt Lake City to St. George to' attend the temple wedding of Miss Joan Bryant to Leland Dean Pace. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas (Ann Jones) Bryant If Las Vegas. Also attending the temple ceremony from this area were Mrs. Max Walker of Tremonton and her daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Ficklin of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jones Jr. of this city. Following the wedding a breakfast was hosted by the parents of the bridegroom Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Pace of Las Vegas. . The next day a lovely wedding reception was held in the gardens of the Bryant home in Las Vegas. Guests were served reson-in-la- w freshments at small tables grouped around the swimming pool wich was covered with a myriad of floating lighted flowers. Joining other family mem-ber- s in Las Vegas for the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Rock and family Becky, Lisa and John of this city. Mrs. Rock and childrn remained in Las Vegas for a weeks vacation while the rest of the Box Elder-ite- s returned to their homes. Hawaii Visits Mr. and Mrs. George Hacking were delighted to have as their houseguests their and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Daivd (Maryelen) Brown of Hawaii. They were here two and son-in-la- w a half weeks and divided their time between here and his folks in Bountiful, He returned to Hawaii on May 31 and she remained until June 3 so she could spend a few days at the BYU in Provo. The Browns live inLaie where he is working on his PhD at the University of Hawaii and she is employed at BYU of Hawaii. While the visitors were here the Hackings entertained at a family dinner which included Browns parents Mr. and Mr. Douglas Brown and family, Mrs Alvin Anderson and family all of Bountiful ; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pounder and children, Hunter; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hacking and children, Willard and Mr. and Mrs. David Hacking and children of this city.
