Thyne Jones left the alt Lake, airport by plane Friday for Pennsylvania where they will spend several days In Philadelphia. They also plan to visit Washington D.C., New York City and Niagra Falls. They will be gone approximately a week. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Udy joined Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Udy, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Phelps of Tremonton for a family dinner party at the Juniper Inn Thursday evening. The party .was for Dennis and Kayia Phelps prior to their leaving for Portland where they will make thier home. Asael Godfrey returned home Thursday after receiving medical care in the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City. Mrs. D.E. Hansen and son Ryan were at the Salt Lake airport Saturday to meet Airman Roger Hansen who has arrived to spend a two week furlough from Travis AFB. Miss Maurine Burton of Lake town spent the weekend visiting her mother Mrs. Rachel Burton. Lanny Smith of Shelly spent a few days during the week with his mother Mrs. Mildred Smith while on business in this area. Troy and Lori Allen of Portage were overnight guests of Marian ' and Marla Smith Friday. President Donal Petersen entered the University Medical Center In Salt Lake City Wednesday and is planning to have surgery Friday. His many friends wish him a speedy recovery. 77th Birthday Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Adams joined Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gordon of Smithfield, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hedrick of Perry and Mr. and Mrs. Ray of Logan for a family dinner party at the Juniper Inn during the week.
