Gilbert Chlo Davis Martin Carlysle Gilbert, 77, of Corinne, was pronouced dead on arrival at St. Benedicts hospital Friday, May 23, 1975, of an apparent heart attack. He was born March 22, 1898, in Brigham City, a son of Mart and Elia R. Nelson Gilbert. He married Rachel Hewlett on June 28, 1920, in Ogden They were later divorced. He was reared in Brigham City and moved to Corinne at age 14 with his parents. He was a dairyman and sugar beet raiser. He was a member and former president of the Corinne Farm Bureau. He was a member of the LDS church. He is survived by one son and daughter, Lon H. and Darlene, both of California; one brother, Leo Gilbert, Corinne. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in the Olsen-FeFuneral home. (Helen) Evans of Bountiful; Mrs. Dorothy Parker of Salt Lake City; 15 grand13 greatchildren; grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Tingey of Brigham City; Mrs. Sarah Kofoed of Ogden; Mrs. C. Dessie Buffington of Provo; Mrs. Fred (Leona) Nelson of Salt Lake George City; Williams of Brigham City, and Vie Williams of California.
