Garden Clubs garden clubs will be busy this week, and will meet at Mrs. Jones greenhouse to work on 4-- transplanting flats of flower seedlings and planting their Lake View The Lake View school garden club elected officers for the coming season. Officers are David Coffman, president; Chuck Dailey, vice president;. H Kelvin Daniels, secretary; Mickey Woodworth, treasurer; Brad Yates, reporter. Earlier in the year they potted geraniums for the school, their homes, and nursing homes. At their most recent meeting they planted hybrid tomato seeds to be transplanted into their home gardens, with Eldon Coffman assisting them. tomatoes for home gardens for members who have not yet received their plants. The Lake View School club will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. at the school and tour the greenhouses at BEHS before going to Mrs. Jones home. Students who cannot attend the club meeting for some reason may attend either of the others slated during the week.
