Jensen, and his sister, Mrs. Carol Andreasen, gave a luncheon for, family members at Mrs. Jensens 62 South Second East. Guests including Mrs. Arnold Asay, Linda Asay, Mrs. Howard Simcox, Connie Asay, Mary Jean Jensen, Dee Ann Jensen. The young newlyweds both graduated from Box Elder High school. He served four years in the Air Force, with part of that home, time spent in Thailand. in They honeymooned Yellowstone, the Tetons and Jackson. They are making a home in Salt Lake City, where the bridegroom is attending Utah Technical college and the bride is employed. DUP News Fort Brigham Fort Brigham Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers will meet on Friday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. at the home of Maxine Jensen, 359 North Third West. A good attendance is desired by the officers. Beehive Camp of Beehive the Camp Daughters of Utah Pioneers will meet on Friday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. at the home of Karlene Stoddard, 221 South Second East. All members are urged to attend Ogden schools. The couple were married Nov. 26, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. To Fielding made their home in Plymouth where Mr. Mason was employed on a ranch. In 1940 they moved to Fielding where they established a permanent home. They purchased farm land in Plymouth and were also turkey raisers. Ezra C. Mason was employed at Thiokol Corporation for five years in the sanitation department. Although Mr. Mason is now retired he still has a few head of livestock. He enjoys hunting and he and his wife spend many hours fishing. They also enjoy traveling Active in church and civic affairs. Mrs. Mason has the served ward in organizations and is presently a Relief Society visiting teacher. She sang with the singing mothers in Fielding and also participated with the Garland Stake choir. She is a past member of the Book Lore club, and is currently a member of the Social Development club. The Masons are parents of fne sons and six daughter of whom nine are are living: Phil W. Mason of Los Angeles: Dent T. Mason of Ogden; Charles LaRon Mason of Tacoma, Wash, Jesse L. Mason of Salt Lake Bob Mrs. City; (Jacqueline) Terry of Green River, Wyo; Mrs Ira (Colleen) Jackman of Sandy; Mrs. Rollin Soda (Helen) Thomas of Springs, Idaho; Mrs. Reta Hurley of Ogden and Mrs. Dale (Mae) Hansen of Brigham City. Mrs. Charles Armstrong called to tell me that their Mrs. Tom daughter-in-laArmstrong had arrived Nov. 8, from Granda, Ariz. with their new baby daughter Melanie Ann. Also accompanying her daughter Mechelle, four. Little Melanie arrived on Octover 23, and wighed five pounds 15 ounces. Sharing grandparent honors with the Charles Armstrongs is Mrs. Marge Nelson of Logan. The visitors will also visit in Logan with her. The proud for father will arrive Thanksgiving and they will return home together. Mrs. Rex Barker called with the happy news that they had a girl in the family at last. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Barker of Bountiful welcomed their first child, a girl, on November 9. She weighted six pounds 12 ounces and will be named Angela. Besides the Rex Barkers of this city, other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ringle of Logan Greatgrandmother is Mrs Blanche Barker also of this city. Fulton have returned from a week in Los Angeles where he went on business and she went to take a break from a busy schedule. Following business during the early day they had the late afternoons and evenings to tour and visit interesting spots. They traveled to Lake Arrowhead, visited Mr. Farmers Market, Knotts Berry Farm, Lion County Safari, and Century City, the ABC entertainment center. At the JOLYNN JOHNSTUN AND MIKEL STEVENS center they saw Debbie Reynolds in Irene. They enjoyed browsing around Santa Monica where they used to live. Prior to their California trip she was called to Joplin, Mo., because of the illness of her mother. She spent three weeks there and during that time her son Sgt. Joseph D. Fulton returned from Iwa Kuni, Japan, where he had spent the past year. He met his mother in Joplin and visited his grandmother before leaving for Kansas City with his mother to visit his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mabel Fulton. They flew to Brigham City from Kansas City so he could visit his father. Sgt. Fulton spent six days here and then returned to the marine base at Cherry Point, N.C. While he was in Brigham City he was guest of honor at a party hosted by his parents for friends at the Elks Logde here and visited friends in Roy. Buzzing Around One of the highlights of the social scene last week was the lovely party Sunday hosted by Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Griffith to celebrate their wedding an- niversary. The dinner party was held Saturday at the Idle Isle for a few close friends and relatives. The guest list included Mrs. Mary Holman, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Call, Mrs. Grace Rock, Mrs. Merle Grover, and Mr. and Mrs. Rud Victor. Following dinner they and visited reminisced. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Barker entertained at a birthday dinner at their home in honor of Rex Mrs. and their daughter-in-la- Bruce (Debbie) Barker on Sunday November 17. Included in the family were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Barker and children Rusty, Brad and Chris of Layton, the Bruce Barkers and daughter Angela, Mr and Mrs. Brent Barker, Logan, Fred Hirschi and Mrs. Juanita Stone. The couple will be honored that evening at a reception In the Provo Utah West Stake center hosted by the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd William Furner of Provo. The following Friday they will be honored at an open house in Brigham City, hosted by parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. William Ross Stevens. Miss Johns tun is a graduate of Provo High school and Seminary and has received her Associate of Science degree from Snow College. A student of Brigham Young emUniversity for the past year, she is also a ployee of that institution. She has been a member of Lambda Delta Sigma and is an LDS Institute graduate. Prospective bridegroom Stevens is a graduate of Box Elder High school and LDS Seminary. He attended Snow College for one year where he was a member of Sigma r LDS Gamma Chi. Recently he returned from a Mission to the area and is attending Snow College. The couple plan to make their first home in the Ephraim-Mant- i area while the bridegroom continues his education. Mrs Mason, the former Helen E Overmyer was born in Toledo, Ohio, a daughter of J. L. and Mary Silvious Overmyer. She spent her girlhood in Baltimore, Md., coming to Utah with her parents at the age of 12 years, as converts to the LDS Church. Mrs. Larsen is the former Mary Kimber of Snowville, and Mrs. Jensens niece. He has just completed his doctorate in chemistry at the University of Wisconsin.
