I was born in Dallas, Texas Judy said. I spent my girlhood in Electra, Texas. However, when I was about 16 my parents, along with their family, moved to Brigham City. (My father was employed at Thiokol Corp) . I was a graduate of Box Elder High school. Our family are all partial to southern cooking. My mother is a fabulous cook. As we were growing up my mother had employment away from home; my sister did the cleaning and the cooking was left up to me, so Ive had a lot of experience. Judys husband is employed as a salesman for the Family Life Insurance company. The Moyes have a small son, Darin, 8 Vi, and an adorable little daughter, Anna Leigh, just 3 y2. ' Judy is a scout den mother. She also serves as a room mother at the Lincoln Elementary school. We have a camper and love to go fishing she said. ' We also enjoy horseback riding. We have many and I do lots of spur of the family moment entertaining. I like to call up several couples unexpectedly and say Come on over for a snack. The Moyes have a lovely home and are now in the process of finishing two bedrooms and a family room in their basement. Judy is a delightful person to visit with. She laughingly recalled before she and Robert were married and she invited him to dinner one evening. She was cooked a pot roast with various vegetables--Robeand Judy who roast was late coming--th- e was trying hard to make an impression on her fiance with her cooking remembers him saying, Well the cantaloupe and tomatoes tasted real good. Cracklin corn bread is really tempting served hot with lots of butter Judy said. Its great to serve with drunk beans. They are really hot. The beer added to the beans evaporates as you cook which eliminates the gas problem for older people.
