Man of La Mancha, adapted by Dale Wasserman with music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion, will play Jan. 30 through Feb. 2, and Feb. at 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on Feb. 9 at the Chase Fine Arts center on the Utah State University campus in 9 Logan. Don Quixote Story Man of La Mancha weaves together the high points of the Don Quixote story with details from the life of its author. The dual role of Cervantes-Quixot- e will be played by Dr. William Ramsye, director of choral activities at USU. role Miss Lehman holds a degree in choral music from Utah State where she studed under Dr. Ramsey. Now she plays opposite him as the slatternly barmaid, Aldonza, who in Quixotes eyes becomes the fair lady Dulcinea, the symbol of purity and beauty. Although her performance in Man of La Mancha is her first for Utah State theatre, Miss Lehman has appeared in other numerous stage operas at Ricks college, stock at Jackson Hole, with Robert Redfords Sundance theatre, and most recently with the University of Utah production of No, No Nanette in Salt Lake.
