Melva Nelson, 43, was treated at Cooley Memorial hospital and released Sunday, according to a hospital spokesman Westbound Truck Patrolman David Evans said the semi rig was westbound and went through the intersection. The Nelson vehicle was northbound and went through the intersection on a green light, striking the truck, he explained. The auto was a complete wreck and Patrolman Evans estimated total damage caused by the accident at $4,200. The accident happened at 9 . 37 p.m. Brigham City volunteer firemen were summoned to wash glass off the highway. Another accident Saturday at the intersection of Second East and Third North resulted in a total of $400 damage, according to police reports. Patrolman Scott Thorsted said a car southbound on Second East, driven by Howard W. Nibiey, 742 West Second South, collided with an auto on Third North, driven by Donna Stevens Rollins, Roy. Damage to the Nibiey car was $150 with loss to the Rollins vehicle at $250, he reported.
