The Honeyville Primary Officers, Teachers Gathered at Park Wednesday for Party By Mrs. George L. Wlntle ' ,Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hunsaker and family of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Alma Cook of Pocatello, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Cook and family and Mr. Hartman Hunsaker, all of Ogden, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hunsaker on Sunday. They also were here to attend the farewell program for Elder Teryl Hunsaker, who is leaving soon for West Germany on a mission for the LDS church. The Hongyville Primary officers and teachers had a lovely party at the Honeyville park on Wednesday evening. They enjoyed a delicious dinner cooked on the fireplace. They had a' lovely program and presented officers who have been released a lovely gift. They were Mrs. Elene Hunsaker, Mrs. Louis Coombs who are now working in the ' Relief "society, and Mrs. Norma Gillmore. They all enjoyed a pleasant evening. Mr. and Mrs. Glendale Hunsaker now of Ogden who are former Honeyville people, are the marriage of announcing their son, Glen Ray Hunsaker, to Sally Jean Beckstead of West Jordan. They will be married in the Salt Lake temple on Sept. 5. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Turner of Riverton are in Honeyville this week visiting relatives. They are staying at the homes of Mrs. Turners brothers and sisters-in-laMr. and Mrs. Bin and Mr. and Mrs. Claudius Tolman. Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Max Cap-enof Cleveland, Ohio, are in Honeyville visiting Mrs. Cape-ner- s mother, Mrs. Daisy Duke, and other relatives.' They will visit in Garland with Mr. Cape-ner- s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fran Capener and other relatives. Mr. Capener is attending dental school in Cleveland. He has two more years to complete his schooling. Mrs. Capener is the former Velma Duke of Honeyville. Mrs. Thora Anderson and children of Bear River City and Mrs. Cleo Barfuss and children of Tremonton spent Monday in Honeyville visiting their par Tol-ma- n ents, Mr.' and Mrs. Rulon Bowman. While here they made a lovely quilt. Mrs. Conrad Johnson of Honeyville and her mother, Mrs. Fred Monson and sister, Mrs. Vaughn Hall of Salt Lake City were in Idaho Falls, Thursday, AUg. 22, to attend the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Farrel Monson. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Johnson this past week from Clares Holm, Canada, were Mrs. Mike Bowie and sons, Gary and Douglas. Gary Bowie is in Utah getting ready to' leave soon for an LDS mission to the Eastern States. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton (Sowman and family of Salt Lake City were in Honeyville, Saturday, visiting with Mr. Bowmans parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Bowman. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Romeso Mrs. Mis-huand their daughter, Ageular of Oxford, Idaho, were in Honeyville visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom D. Valdez, Thursday, Aug. 22. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Laur-ian- s Martinez and three children of Lark, Utah, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom D. Valdez. Mrs Valdez and Mrs. Martinez are cousins. , Mrs. Juan R. Vargas and son, Alex, wer guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Valdez this past week. They are from Mrs. Valdez Leadville, Colo. and Mrs. Vargas are cousins. Fred Bingham1 was hurt Saturday on his farm when the tractor he was riding tiped over and fell on him hurting him pretty badly. No bones were broken but he was bruised very badly. He is in the Cooley Memorial hospital where he is reported improving. Thorsted, 10 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Thorsted of Honeyville, who underwent surgery in the Cooley hospital on Aug. 22, is reported doing fine at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dean Shepherd of Riverdale are the proud parents of a baby boy born Aug. 24, in the hospital at Brigham City. Mrs. Shepherd is the former Carol Hunsaker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Hunsaker of Honeyville. This is their first child. Jimmie Hill, Dan Tanaka, Lloyd Thorsted and Bert Harper left for Southern Utah on Friday morning to hunt deer dith their bows and arrows. They will be gone for several dalys. Honeyville school started on Tuesday morning with 103 students enrolled for class work. Teachers this year are Leone Hunsaker, Estella Maero and Janice Nicholsv Jay Hawkes is ' ' principal. Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Wintle and family attended the funeral of Mrs. Catherine Warren Bennett (Aunt Kate) in Downey, Idaho, on Tuesday. Mrs. Bennett was 91 years old and had 91 and 15 besid- es her children and grandrhil-dren- . Miss Judy Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Johnson presented her piano students in a recital Friday evening at the home of her parents. Sometime, after ,the first of October she plans ,to start 'new classes that will - be held at her home - during the winter months with a recital planned after five months. Mrs. Orme plans to teach classes in ballet tap acrobatic, Hawaiian, and square dancing. The square dancing group that she had this summer won second prize in their age group at the Talent show, an have been busy performing on programs. They have been invited to be on the program on Friday afternoon, at Peach Days in Brigham City. Misses Rosemary and Rosemarie Wintle and William Wintle, children of Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Wintle, received their third pin on Friday for completing the summer reading program at the lobrary in Brigham City. the On Saturday morning teachers of the Honeyville school met at the school house and made plans for the opening of school on Tuesday. The teachers for this year are Mr. Mrs. LeJay Hawkes principal; one Hunsaker, - fifth nd sixth grades; Mrs. Janice Nicholas, third and fourth; and Mrs. Estella Maero, first and second.
