Sixth Ward Relief Society Holds Social t e Off-Stag- Temptress "Tempting The Carl B Olsen annual family reunion was held Memorial Day at Rees Pioneer park with family members attending. Dinner was served at 1 p. m. with a business meeting and program following. The session this year was under the direction of Mrs. E. S. (Birdie Olsen) Hansen, Logan. Among those present were the out of state family following members: Carlos Olsen, Lafayette, Calif ; Sherma Hansen, Cody, Wyo ; Max Olsen, Jr. and family, Pocatello, Idaho. HONEYVILLE REPORTS: Relief Society Completes Activities Closing social for members of the Sixth ward Relief society was held Tuesday, May 31, in the recreation hall at the ward. A delicious salad luncheon was served at 1 p. m. with fifty places set for members. The tables were beautiful with spring blooms. President Alice Jenson presided and conducted with prayer and blessing of the food given by Mrs. Violet Tmgey. Hostesses serving under the direction of Mrs. Angie Farnsworth and Mrs. Elaine Wight were: Mrs. Louise- - Whitworth, Mrs. Bergetta Grant, Mrs. Edna Merrell and Mrs. Clara Larsen. The program presented was arranged by Mrs. Erma Hansen and Mrs. Jayne Bergstrom. Entertaining were: Amanda Reeves who gave bright sayings of her children and grandchil dren; trio selections, "To Spring and Spring is a Loveable Day, by Mrs. Blythe Tingey, Mrs. Dor Is Tingey and Mrs. Lottie Tyson accompanied by Carolyn Tingey; two comic readings, Miland itary Life of Private X Sockery Setting a Hen, by Mrs. Leone Sims, Mantua. (Mrs. Norene Burtcher and Mrs. Lucy Coppin, gaibed in golf togs, delighted the ladies with an original rendition of The Ballad of Davey Crockett with words used relating to the Relief society presidency. Games were played with Mrs. Evelyn Johnson, Mrs. Amanda Reeves, Mrs. Rose Peterson the winners. A lovely necklace and earring set was presented as a token of appreciation to Mrs. Mabel Burr, former second counselor of the Sixth ward Relief society. Mrs. Burr responded. According to word received from Germany by Mr. and Mrs. Leon Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Emery Wight, they are the grandparents of a baby boy born to Lieutenant and Mrs. Ross Wight. Lt. Wight is stationed in Germany with the armed forces Mrs. Wight is the former Mary J. Chadwick. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hunsa-ke- r and children have returned home after spending several days in Pocatello with Mrs. sister, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Wintle and family. Mr. and Mrs Conrad Johnson were hosts this past week to Mrs Johnsons mother and three sisters, Mrs. Fred L. Monson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. William Phillips, iDowney, Idaho; Mrs. John Bodloy, Burley; and Mr. and Mrs R. C. Long, Preston.
