Legion Auxiliary met Wednesday evening, June 1, at the Idle Isle for a bridge luncheon. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Hilda Forrest, Mrs. Arietta Rasmussen and Mrs. Vera Burt. (Nora Walker) Gunderson, who this week will receive her bachelor of science degree at commencement exercises at the Utah State Agricultural college. After Mm. Gunderson received her normal certificate from the Brigham Young University in 1922 she taught for eight ' years in the Box Elder county school district. She 'became the wife of J. D. of Gunderson, now principal Central School, Brigham City, and dispensed with school teaching for more than 20 years as she reared five children, Mary Gunderson Parsons, 22, Karen 17, Dixie 16, John 11 and Steven Resuming a KU new LIQUID, LEAD 10. Mrs. Elmer Jeppsen The name of Elmer as. she marches up to receive her Jeppsen has appeared on the roster for Box Elder School District teachers for more than 20 years, Mrs. Elmer (Rula Sackett) Jeppsen has now stepped into the profession of the late Mr. Jeppsen. This week, on Saturday, June 4, she too, will be among the graduates of the Utah State Agricultural college receiving her bachelor of science degree lrf elementary education. Mrs. Jeppsen received hdr normal certificate at Weber college and taught two years at Bear River City and one at Central in Brigham City before settling down to the business of 'being a wife and mother.
