First sessions are planned for Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Lake View school and everyones invited to participate. There are two parts to the roller skating program: one is public skating on a weekly basis, the other is a series of skating lessons. Public skating is scheduled with sessions from 5 to 6:45 p.m. and again from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Admission price is $1 which includes skate rental. There are no age limits in either session. Skating lessons will begin the same date, with one session at 3:45 p.m. and another session at 4:30 p.m.These lessons also qualify for the Boy Scout and Girl Scout skating badges. Theres a class fee of $5 per student for the eight-wee- k session, with Karen Hyer as instructor. Registration will take place in the first class sessions. LeRoy Atkinson LeRoy Alfred Atkinson, 62, of Garland, was killed in a truck accident Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1977, near Garland. He was born Dec. 8, 1914, in Clarkston, Utah, a son of Joseph LeRoy and Mary Barbara Godfrey Atkinson. He married Margie Williams on May 8, 1946, in Malad, Idaho. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS temple on April He Utah tation 8, 1960. was a foreman for the Department of Transporfor 12 years and also was a farmer. He was a graduate of Bear River High school and Garland LDS seminary and attended Utah State university. He was high priest group leader in the Garland East LDS ward and had served in the YMMIA in the ward and Garland stake. He had served as ward clerk. Surviving are his widow of Garland; one son and two daughters, Jeffrey LeRoy Atkinson, Miss Barbara Lynette Atkinson, both of Garland ; Mrs. W. Keith (Kathleen) Marsh, KCPLIFTIMJ LeRoy A.
