Glenn has three children, two married daughters in Ogden and Bryan who lives in Brigham City. I used to give my grandsons haircuts until they got long hair. Now Bryan has to cut their hair, stated Glenn. He married Grace Bowcutt on June 16, 1927 and he and his wife will now travel and camp, doing a little fishing, too. Im learning to play the organ, now that Ive got a little time. And I have a carpenter shop in my garage Ill work in. Fred M. Christensen, adviser to the chapter, noted that someone from Bear River has won the beautification contest for the past three years. And in two of the past four years, one of its members have been selected as the outstanding farmer. Pali received a $200 cash award for being named the Utah Young Farmer of the Year. He served as president of the association for the past year. The award recipient farms 743 acres in Bear River Valley, raising row crops. He is one of the areas leading growers of sugar beets and also raises corn and some hay and grain. Hardy who is 34, operates a dairy farm with his brother, Lynn Hardy, at Elwood. They have purebred holstein cows and boast a heard of 135 animals. Paul E. Pali, farmer from Tremonton, was singled out as the Utah Young Farmer of the Year. Jay E. Hardy, a dairy farmer from Elwood, captured first place in the UYF beautifcation project.
