While in Idaho Falls they attended a wedding ceremony and breakfast for Mr. and Mrs. David Petersen. The Civic and Home Arts club met at the community center in the basement of the library Thursday evening with Mrs. Catherine Limb and Mrs. Marlene Coombs as President Ruth Shumway conducted the meeting. Marlene Coombs was in charge of the evenings entertainment. Julie Brown gave a report on Girls State. The remainder of the evening was spent in tying a quilt as a fund raising project for the club. The quilt will be raffled off during Wheat and Beet Days Aug. Dainty refreshments were served. Mrs. Sonny Wadsworth and son Brent were overnight guests of Mrs. Wadsworths mother Mrs. Connie Roe in Salt Lake City Thursday. Friday Mrs. Roe accompanied them home and will spend a few days in Garland visiting. ' 5-- 7. Business Trip Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Munns were in Salt Lake City on business Wednesday. Blake Petersen of Idaho Falls is visiting Mr. and Mrs. James Wood this week. Friday Mr. and Mrs. V. W. Johns attended a wedding ceremony in the Ogden Temple where John S. Sorenson claimed Laurie Thompson as his bride. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sorenson and is a nephew of V. W. Johns. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron H. Thompson of Warren. Mr. and Mrs. Johns attended the wedding breakfast held in the 10th ward cultural hall. In the evening they attend-- 1 ed a reception held in the Warren cultural hall. Mrs. LaDene Hodge of Ogden visited Mrs. Hattie Hodge and Mrs. Roselin Draper Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. V. W. Johns attended the Republican State convention held in the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday. They were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Yorgason in Salt Lake City Friday. Mr. and Mrs. David Archibald of Clarkston visited Mrs. Hattie Hodge Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Davis and sons Daren and Gary have returned from a week vacation in Lethbridge, Canada where Montanans Here Spending Friday in Garland at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Rogers were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Thompson of Wise River, Mont. Mrs. Hattie Hodge enjoyed dinner at the Bluebird cafe in Logan along with her Mrs. David Archibald of Clarkston. Saturday President and Mrs. James White and daughter Vvette and son Jim, Mrs. Hattie Hodge along with Mr. and Mrs. Alan James of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Richards and daughter Jamie of Riverside enjoyed a family dinner party at the Golden Spike Cafe in Corinne. The occasion was' Jims 12th birthday anniversary. Later they returned to the White home for a social. Mr. and Mrs. James Wood are happy over the arrival of a granddaughter born to Kent and Kay Ashdown Soderqulst of Logan on July 3. They have three girls and one boy at home. The little new miss will be named Kari Ann Soderquiest. Other grandparents are Mr. and Kesler and family. They also visited relatives in Cardston. Visiting Mrs. Louise Harper Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Holt of Salt Lake City. The two ladies are sisters. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dalton attended a Dalton family reunion in the Clearfield park. Recuperating Mrs. Hanna Davis accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Williams of Pocatello to Salt Lake City Saturday to visit her sister Mrs. Margaret Fry who is recuperating following a heart, William L. Roundy William Lorenzo Roundy, 91, Fielding, died Friday, July 16, 1976 at the Pioneer Memorial Nursing home of causes incident to age. He was born Nov. 15, 1884 in Kanorraville, Utah, son of Samuel H. and Euginia (Taylor) Roundy. He married Jane (Jennie) James May 19, 1909 in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. She died in 1967. He later moved from Kanorraville to Benson Ward, Cache County with his family and later to Spanish Fork and finally to Fielding. He was a member and high priest in the LDS church. He served a mission for the church in West Virginia. Surviving are two sons and one daughter: James Burnell Roundy of Fielding; Darrell Roundy of Salt Lake; Mrs. Veryl (Reba) Henry of Malad, Idaho; sixteen grandchildren 43 Also surviving are two brothers and one sister: Clarence Roundy and Leonard Roundy and Mrs. Julia Rees of Ogden. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Noonday in the Rogers Mortuary, Tremonton. Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. to service at the Rogers Mortuary. Interment in the Spanish Fork Mrs. Zina Marriott spent Wednesday evening visiting her sister Mrs. Faye Dorris in Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs Clarence Bow-cu- tt joined Mr. and Mrs. Don Burnhope of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Burnhope and family of Bothwell and spent the weekend at Lava Hot Springs. They enjoyed swimming and relaxing. The occasion was Mrs. Don Burnhopes birthday anniversary. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Rich, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bowcutt along with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Garrett of Logan enjoyed a dinner party at the Elks Club in Logan. was accompanied to California by his daughter Mrs. Laraine Christofferson of Salt Lake City who will remain with relatives in that area while her father is hospitalized.
