Travels South Dorothy Hanlon has returned from a delightful late spring vacation that took her into Arkansas and Louisiana and to visit several old friends who used to live in Brigham City when they were affiliated with the Intermountain Indian school. Mrs. Faralie Spell, of Carson City, Nev., came to Brigham City to spend a few days with Miss Hanlon and visit old friends here and then they flew to DeQueen, Ark., where they visited Miss Norma Runy. They enjoyed reminiscing about old times and just catching up on news about each other. From there they flew to New Orleans and met another old friend Miss Martha Hall. With the event to begin with a social hour at 7 p.m. there will also be a menu of hot food served to members and guests beginning at 7:30 p.m. and the fashions will be paraded beginning at 8 p.m. Sonomas will furnish the pantsuits, dresses, and casual wear that will be modeled by club members Patty Brown, Irma Busenbark, Naida Eichorn, Phyllis Whitaker, Cindy Lu Busenbark, Joan Bell and Sandra Smith. Patty Whitaker will be narrator, with as Doris Nighswonger musician. The event is open to anyone interested in attending and members of the group are invited to bring guests for the annual dinner event. There will be no golfing that Monday since the course will be closed for the Pro-Aso tournament, members may play on Saturday or Sunday and have their scores recorded for prizes to be awarded during the evening social event. Reservations should be made by Saturday, June 7, and may be made by calling hostess Alma Day Camp - Box Elder neighborhoods annual day camp will begin on Monday, June 2, and continue through Friday, June 6, in Box Elder campground. The camp is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, with programs in outdoor skills, nature studies, and summer fun scheduled for girls aged from Brownies to Cadettes.
