SERVICE A former Brigham City mayor, who is now serving on the Utah State Public Service commission, has received the first Brigham City Elks lodge distinguished citizen award Olof Zundel was honored The Box Elder chapter of Future Farmers of America was represented at the recent FFA state convention by two delegates and a number of other members Nathan Braegger and Brian Hardy were the two delegates Braegger served on the nominations committee which interviewed and nominated the new state officers Hardy was on the BOAC committee which judged each chapter in this area He was a state officer candidate Box Elder had six members who received the state farmer degree This state award is seven He Marcus succeeds Richardson with whom he annual national awards, the building of several new parks and the improvement of others, the development of a city recreational program which has become a model for other cities, and the building of a community center and also a new city hall. Brigham City Elks are proud to make this award to such a distinguished citizen and a great American, Dufour said.
