Kosof has called a meeting Wednesday, April 26, at the Brigham Bowl to discuss the local facilitys future. Kosof said city officials and other community leaders have been issued special invitations to attend the session which is scheduled at 8 p.m. at the bowl, 15 East Fifth North. Describing it as a question and answer meeting, the owner said its open to all concerned citizens of the community. I want people to know exactly the situation as it exists," he added. In a news letter sent out this past week to virtually all residences in the area, Kosof disclosed that he has lost more than $72,000 since purchasing the bowl and offices a little over four years ago. We cant continue to operate the bowl. We just cant get enough people to bowl in leagues, he states. Expressing a desire to see bowling continue as an activity in the community, Kosof said area people will have to decide if they want Brigham Bowl to continue in operation. He has advanced two proposals: For Brigham City to bond for $500,000 and take over the facility as a municipally-ownerecreation activity. A pledge from area residents to bowl during the normally slow months of May through August. The owner said if something isnt done, hell be forced to sell the building to interest for use in another type of commercial venture. "Since I dont want to be personally responsible for the loss of the bowl to the area, I thought it best to take the matter directly to the citizens of Brigham City and the area as a whole," he stated. g Donna Peterson, Carol Fibel, Girls Heat one Heat one 440 Boys BEHS, 440 the Eagle Working his charges out Saturday morning, Anderson expressed concern about this weeks two games.
