Mrs. Grant was born Sept. 17, 1888. in Paris, Idaho, to James and Elizabeth Smith Nye. She UNIT AND was reared in Paris. She was married to Noval Grant on Nov. 12, 1913, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They had resided since in' Honeyville. She was a member of the LDS church and had served 13 years as secretary of the Honeyville ward Relief society. , Suvivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Don W. (Nora) Tibbitts, Bountiful; Mrs. Leonard (Beryl) Dickey, Bear River City; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. H. O. Hunsaker, Ogden; Mrs. William Sheppard, Logan. Funeral services were held on Monday in the Honeyville ward chapel with Bishop Byron Hunsaker officiating. S. Highway 30. Daniel Wiiliam Rees, 23, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Cooley hospital in Brigham City. He was the son of D. Glenn Rees and the late Rhea Valentine Rees, and the husband of the former Delores Pali of Elwood. Injured in the death car were Wayne Lee Chambers, 19 of Elwood, driver of the late model automobile, who suffered head lacerations; Larry Bert Price, 18, of Trenionton, who was treated for head lacerations and knee injuries. They were both released from the hospital Tuesday morning. Also injured in the Chambers car were Carol Ann Nelson, 13, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nelson, 557 South Main, Brigham City, who received head lacerations and possible pelvis fracture; and Shirley Johnson, 14, granddaughter of Mrs. Stella Johnson of 223 West Second South, Brigham City, who suffered undetermined injuries. The Nelson girl was reported in good condition and Miss Johnson in satisfactory condition Tuesday morning. ( John A. Reed, 48, of Kaysville, driver and sole occupant of the other car, suffered chest injuries and head lacerations.
