He was the father of Mrs. Lillian Knudsen of Brigham City. He was born March 25, 1886, m Uintah to David Marshall and Susan Douglas Airmet Stuart. He married Ellen F. Fernelius Dec 11, 1911, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He oganized the first Boy Scout troop in Uintah, and was town a member of the original council. Surviving are his widow; three sons, seven daughters: Claude Eliot Stuart, Jr., Kenneth F. Darrell M. Stuart, Uintah; Stuart, Logan; a foster son, David M. Stuart, Corvallis, Ore.; Mrs. Elinor Gardner, Lund, Mrs. Verda Gardner, Nev.; Yuma, Ariz.; Mrs. Lillian Knudsen, Brigham City; Mrs. Marjorie Hatch, Bancroft, Idaho; Mrs. Doris McEwan, Mrs. Joanne Robinson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. 11a Jean Corkey, Ogden.
