HI Pier port BE Junior High Salt fyke e y Catholics Fete .1,000 Navajo Students Here The Salt Lake Diocese of Catholic' Woman put on its annual Christmas party for approximately 1,000 students at Intermountain school on Sunday afternoon. The students presented a program ranging from a Nativity pageant to numbers by the Rainbow Dancers, to selections by the school band. The Catholic Womens group provided Christmas . refreshments, gifts and prizes for the affair. , v The party started at 2 p m. in the gymnasium, with David Mann, a senior at the school, directing the student numbers. Service medallions were presented to the members of the school Catholic choir and to the altar boys by fit. Rev. Lennox Federal, auxiliary bishop of the Salt Lake Catholic Diocese. Assisting with the party arrangements was Father Francis Dunn, pastor of the St Henrys Parish in Brigham City. Street, 38, Lchi, was sentenced to a term of not more than five years in the state prison, Tuesday, in First District court when he pleaded guilty to a charge of issuing a bad check at Holtons store in Perry on Nov. 17. The sentence was pronounced after by Judge Lewis Jones Street waived preliminary hearing. It was brought out that Street, a prison parolee, had violated the conditions of parole when he wrote out the check. Cantata Announced By Willard Girls Music of Bethlehem is the title of the Christmas Cantata to be presented by sixth, seventh and eighth grade girls of the Willard school.
