A reunion was held Saturday, July 9 at Vae View Park in Layton for the descendants of George Barnes. About 100 descendants of George Barnes who was from Hallora, Pa. and the New England area attended the reunion. George Barnes, who is the of Mrs. Golden Sill of Layton was one of the Bickertonites faith. This is a group that branches off of the Mormon Church. In the late 1850s Barnes and his family were rebaptized into the LDS Church. Some of the relatives at this reunion had not seen each other for 35 years. The great-grandfath- Chadwick.
