Education Program has been scheduled to begin November 1 16, 19$38, and continue on Tuesday evenings through December 7, 1976. THE FIRST session on November 16, 1976, will be conducted by Steven J. Anderson, M.D., a Rheumatologist and Dr. John Bender, M.D., Physiatrist. The discussion will center around the signs and svmp-tom- s of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis, what causes the arthritis, and the various kinds of treatment for THfi PROGRAM will be held lit McKay-De- e Hospital in thjB Level Auditorium 9 fromjjt p.m. to p.m. each nighfc Anyone interested can register by calling McKay-De- e ext. hospital - THE SECOND session on November 23, will be conducted by Marlin Shields, RPT, Steve Spencer, RPT and assisted by other local physical therapists. They will discuss the philosophy of physical therapy and teach the patients a basic home exercise program. The third session on November 30, will be conducted by James McNamara, DSW and Sharon Tanner, MSW who will discuss the and social psychological implications of arthritis. A group discussion involving the patients and their families will also be conducted. A donation of $20 per family is suggested to help cover the costs of the instructional materials given the patient and his family. Schedules Bazaar Layton Eagles Auxiliary No. 3198 is having a bazaar at 156 W. Gentile, Layton.
