The board asked Dr. Richard Johns, Director of the County Health Department, to submit recommendations for Emergency Medical Services Council members at the Board of Health meeting in December. DR. THE PURPOSE of the EMS Council would be to coordinate efforts by the Davis County Sheriffs Office, the South Davis Fire Department and other city fire and police departments who are capable of giving emergency medical aid.
