Maxfield Tony Rasmussen, director, announces that the Bountiful Art Center is preparing for an Exhibit of the works of Max- field Parrish. Several months ago Mr. Rasmussen called for :.persons in the area having reproductions of Maxfield jParnsh to consider lending their works for display at the ;; work is currently enjoying a resurgence of popularity and Tony Rasmussen has been able to gather a wide variety of examples for gallery visitors to enjoy. Many samples of his paintings, illustrations, advertisements, and posters will be on display. As a result of compiling pieces for the exhibit, Mr. Rasmussen has done considerable research on Parrish Center. The Barkers are from North Ogden. 825-352- 3 Clarence George Forbes, 86 Drive, Layton, died Monday, April 26, 1976 at his home of cancer. of 1716 West Antelope HE WAS bom Jan. 15, 1890 in Layton, a son of John and Margaret Lorena Bennett Forbes. He was married to Grace Alder Robins on May 19, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He and a farmer and had also been a Civil Service HE HAD been a life long resident of Layton. He was a graduate of Davis County Schools and attended Utah State University for two years. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He was a High Priest in the Layton 19th Ward; he had also been secretary of the Seventies Group and Elders Quorum. Mr. and Mrs. Conroy Whip- ple and their four children of Salt Lake City spent the weekend at the Pattillo home in South Weber. They also visited in Sunset with friends. Mrs. Whipple is the former Miss Bishop who taught at the Sunset Elementary School. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ben- nett and their daughter George and Lucy Smith have returned after a two AriLine of San Diego, Calif, have been visiting with Mr. Bennetts parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bennett. He is on leave from the Coast Guard. Joining the family reunion were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Preslar and their two children Brandon and Jaylene Preslar of Honeyville. They were here for three days.
