He has been the attending Language Training School the past two months. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Garlick. Harold Moon of North Farmington was injured last week in a farming accident and is seriously ill at the LDS Hospital where he is undergoing treatment He is the fattier of Mrs. Rodney Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Tice spent the past weekend in southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Willden were Monday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bond. Vera Walker and her niece, Mrs. Patricia Howell, of Kaysville were guests in Salt Lake City on Tuesday of Mrs. Walkers sister, Mrs. Florence Sjoberg, for lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Wright and son Patrick and daughter Stacey, Mr. end Mrs. Brent Russell, Masy Stone were guests Sunday in Salt Lake City of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson for their daughter announcement dinner party at the Don Quixote Restaurant. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Parker of Orem were Saturday visitors of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jorgensen went by plane to Los Angeles, Calif, last week to attend special meetings on crafts. Mrs. Wilma Buhler of Bountiful was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Joe F. Preece. Mr. and Mrs. Ried Daniels and family were guests in Bountiful of her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Tyler. Mrs. Steven Rushforth went by plane to Evanston, 111. to visit with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rushforth and to be with the new grandson Craig Steven who was bom Jan. 18. This is the second child for Dennis and his wife Gail. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Wright entertained at a buffet dinner shower for 25 guests on Saturday, Jan. 17, in honor of their niece Kitrina Nielson, who will be married on Feb. as 10. Mrs. Owen Wright and daughters Stacey Wright and Wendy Russell were guests at a bridal shower fur Kitrina in Salt Lake City Thursday given by Nancy Sherwood and Dorothy Hansen. Tuesday visitors of Mrs. R. M. Maxfield were Jennie Champneys, Ogden; Artella Crandall of Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lange and six children and Kent Whitaker returned recently from California where they enjoyed sightseeing In the Los Angeles area, visiting Disneyland, Sea World and also places of interest in the San Diego area. They visited in Lacrescenta with her sister and family, Mrs. Vonnie Nichols. Mrs. Langes mother, Mrs. Vonnie Davis went by plane to California and met them at Mrs. Nichols home for a short visit and also returned to Kaysville by plane. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bond were Mr. and Mrs. James T. Giles, and children Kathy and Teresa, Mrs. Maries Gilespie and Mrs. Helen Carlile, all of Granger. Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Murphy and family of Orem visited the Bonds on Friday evening, along with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Peterson of Salt Lake City who brought them a surprise dinner in honor of Mrs. Bonds birthday R. M. Elder Mark Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Nichols, has received his mission call k LDS to the Mission for two years. His farewell testimonial will be held Sunday, Feb. 8 in the Kaysville 10th LDS Ward. He will enter the mission home in Salt Lake City on Feb. 14. In the 11-1- 2 group Elder Trevor Christensen has been called to serve a two-yeLDS mission to the Denmark mission. Mrs. Jellings mother, Margaret Jellings of Waukegen, 111. has been visiting with her son and old sister, Anna Kay. Paul and Vicki Barber are parents of a girl. Mary Nichole. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Walker hosted their club members to a dinner at the Juniper Inn in Logan.
