Rock hounds invite public to show this weekend Clearfield The Golden Spike Gem and Mineral Society will hold their ninth annual show on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20, at the White City Bowl in Ogden, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Demonstrations of lapidary machines (stone cutters) silver casting and silver smithing will be given. Exhibits of mineral specimens, gems, jewelry, fossils and Indian artifacts will be on display. Special exhibits will be made by the junior members of the society. There will be nothing to sell, nothing to buy and the admission is free. There are about thirty-fiv- e members in the society from Davis County. The total membership is about S5 members and 75 junior members. It is a family affair, with interest for all members, young or old.
