A patient comes in with a headache. They hope that just an adjustment will fix it. The If it is causes of headache are multitudinous. caused by direct pressure on the spinal cord, then the correction is fairly simple. If they are caused by faulty function of certain of the internal organs, then the function of the internal organs must be returned to normal by restoration of the normal flow of impulses between the brain and that organ before the headaches will cease. We are not particularly concerned with stopping the pain which is the major complaint. We direct our efforts to correcting the alignment of the various segments of the body so that the communication system between the brain and the body is able to function 100 normally. Everyone welcome all the time. Many of the pains suffeicd by mankind cannot be voluntarily controlled. Even so, they are still there to warn you that something is wrong in the body which should be fixed. ' Is it not foolish then to satisfy yourself with taking a pain killer or sedative to silence these warnings? How much better it would be to find out what is causing the disorder in the body which is causing the body to manifest the symptom of pain. If the Isuiy were receiving 100 normal flow of impulses between the brain and every cell, tissue and organ in the body, the body would function normally, and thus, there would be no pam. There are only thiee exceptions to this rule and they have been, discussed in previous articles. They have to do with psychosomatic conditions, malnutrition and traumatic injuries. All. other conditions can lie traced directly to interference with the normal flow of body controlling impulses between the brain and the body. It is the mechanism which was installed in your body by the Universal Intelligence to protect and warn the body when something is wrong which should be fixed. If you lay your finger on a atove, you very quickly withdraw it because the pain warns you that to leave it there would cause damage. You don't stop to reason this out because your Innate Intelligence causes you to automatically remove your finger. This is a situation which you ran voluntarily control.
