The two concerts were sponsored by four of the Clearfield wards as affairs to bolster their budget funds. Return from Missions Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Robison, parents of Mrs. 0. Ross Sanders, have recently returned from a two-yestay in Florida, where they served on a mission for the LDS Church. They are now making their home in Clearfield with their daughter Mr. Robison will and assist Mr. Sanders in ope of the two. Western Auto stores he manages in the area. Musical Treats The Brigham Young University ACappela chorus sang to a packed chapel last Friday evening. The audience was most attentive and thanked the chorus with a good round of applause following each of the beautiful and sometimes amusing musical numbers. On Saturday the same chapel was not quite so full, due to freezing tempera Clarence Stokers f Taking a winter trip are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stoker, who left for Florida this past week. In the southern state they will meet their son, Blen who is returning from a mission to Brazil for the LDS Church. Blen is a member of the Clearfield Second Ward. Recently the children of the Sanders were delighted to have both of their grandparents with them for a Sunday dinner. The other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Orson Sanders, Ross's parents. An Injury Cullen Lockhart of Clearfield Villa is hospitalized this week at St. Benedicts hospital,, following surgery on his ankle, and heel as a result of an injury. He was inweeks ago when jured about he fell from a twelve foot ladder while working m the old First LDS Ward hall on South Main street. Mr. Lockhart is converting the building into a roller skating rink. He had plana to open the rink before Christmas. However, it will to be delayed until after the holidays. He had his wrist and tinkle fractured in the fall and has had a cast on these two fractures for the past j several days. The original casts were replaced following the operation last week to insert pins into the bones. Mr. Lockhart is expected to be home for recuperat-- 1 mg this week.
