For the purpose of conforming with the rates established by Railroad Director McAdoo, the passenger rates on the electric lines of Utah have been raised equal to the rates in force on the Bteam lines. Practically the rate is 3 cents a mile with the exception of commutation tickets, on which there has been a slight raise. There are no round trip rates now in force, and all mileage books are being taken up and the remaining coupons are being redeemed. The one way rate now in force to Salt Lake City is 70 cents, to Ogden 49 cents. Commutation tickets good for ten round trips to Salt Lake City from Kaysville now cost $6.05; to Ogden $4.95. If the people give it good support it will be instructive, elevating and entertaining, but if they wihhold that support it will be a bum - show with but little merit.
