No services were held in the meetinghouse for this reason. re- Harold Kimball, the 14 year old son .of Ernest Kimball, narrowly escaped being killed by the Bamberger train Saturday morning. He was loading freight at the depot when a passenger train crashed into his wagon, causing him to be violently thrown to the ground. The horse became frightened end ran away, kicking Mr. Kimball in the knee, causing a fracture. He was also badly bruised about the head, caused by the fall from the WUgon. At last accounts he was doing as well as could be expected. Lenard Day and Claud Jacobson left recently for Rexburg, Idaho, where they will spend the summer. Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Holbrook, Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Holbrook and a number of people from this place left Tuesday for Richmond to attend the funeral of Mr. John Corbridge of that place.
