The main auditorium and lounge are supplied with air from overheated defusing grilles and the return air is taken from the floor level. The grilles effect the mixing of the air to avoid drafts. All air prior to delivery to the rooms is cleaned thoroughly by a new type filter. A huge Sturtevant Theatre Fan is located in the basement in a special fan room. s, . lir.-- t, i- chosen. FARMERS AND MERCHANTS RANK to Here are also located the fin type radiators. One is for steam to heat the air in winter, the other for cold Mater for cooling in summer temperatures. A fresh air supply is taken from the outside and automatically mixed xvitli the recirculated air to supply an adequate amount of fresh air in the auditorium without excessive fuel consumption. The fan has a capacity to deliver 30,000 cubic feet of air each minute. This will effect a complete air change of the auditorium every six minutes and Mill supply over 30 cubic feet of air per person every minute when the building is fully occupied. Minor rooms are heated by Cabinet Radiators with copper steam heating sections which are efficient in performance and quick in response to heat demands. Temperatures are automatically maintained at the proper levels in all principal rooms Mith Johnson Service Control, using compressed air to operate valves and dampers. This assures the greatest possible comfort and minimum fuel consumption. Cooling is provided separately for the Managers office and Foyer by two evaporative type coolers. This avoids the operation of the large unit to cool just one small room when the Theatre section is not being used. II if vy f ? 'mV- if - 3 , - r Orem Peach Qrowers . . .
