Wasatch, remained on top by splitting two games with the Style Shop. Mary Eaquinto of Wasatch took high score for the" evening with a 162. Jo Stevenson had a 151, 155 and Nellie Phyllis Estes Holland took fourth with a 150. High three game series went to Nellie Holland with a 404, Phyllis Estes with a 402, Mary Fahl, 378 and Jo Stevenson with a 374. High .game for the week among the ladies was won by Lillie Tol-l- is with a 181. Gus Burdis, manager of the Suhny Bowl called a meeting of all the ladies in the league after they had bowled to discuss the entering of the Womens International Bowling Congress. The ladies were in, favor of entering so the applications were mailed to the conference secretary. Mrs. Charlotte Bon was elected treasurer of the ladies bowling league and Mrs. Jo Stevenson was elected sergeant in order to comply with the bowling congress regulations. The ladies have continued to ask their friends arid others to come and watch them' bowl. Last week a very large turnout was on hand to see the league games. , School Had Four Days Vacation Last Week Sallie Mahan, Joan The East Carbon junior high at Dragerton had four days vacation this past week. Monday was an annual holiday so declared to give the teachers one more day in the field at the beginning of the deer season. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were taken and added in succession to Mondav.j Cause cold weather and no heat. New heating units had not been completed and cold weather caught the school short. Heer Entertain At Birthday Party Sallie Mahan and Joan Heer entertained at a joint birthday and Halloween party, Thursday evening, at the Clinic building. Dancing and games were the entertainment for the guests. Bobby Smith played the steel guitar. Refreshments were served centering around birthday cakes; Halloween favors were given to each guest. The girls received many gifts. Mrs. Next Friday night there will be the officers at the Mrs. Laura Driggs, president, home to discuss plans for the Christmas party to be held for the entire league.
