Halloween party, in the Sunnyside school house. Many of the children went in costume but some were not. The main attractions at the party were the ' fish pond and the candy sale. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Walker of Salt Lake City spent a few hours in Sunnydale last Thursday. They were passing through on a business trip so did not have time to visit their many friends here. Miss Pat Morgan is working in the Toy department of the Utah Fuel store at Sunnydale. During the absence of the men on their deer hunt the women on Edgehill had a very enjoyable time. They had several parties and a progressive dinner on SunMrs. Marie Alger enterday. tained them Saturday evening with a very delicious dinner. They had more fun than thejmen did or so they say. Mr. - and - Mrs. LaVar - Morley moved from Sunnydale to Dragerton to the new home they just bought. They had only lived in our community one month. The Sunnyside elementary school had their Halloween party Tuesday afternoon. The welfare joined with the school in making it a huge success by furnishing Halloween favors for all the school children and many of the children took their little brothers and sisters. Shortstop Shadow by -- Sunnyside -- Sunnudaie The Blue Bir girls met on Thursday of last week and planned their Halloween party. Their leader, Mrs. lone Maki, was absent but Mrs. Sophie Arambula was present and helped with their plans. The party was on Friday night in "the Sunnyside library. The Blue Bird girls, their two leaders, and the girls whef had just flown up from their group to the Campfire girls were present. All were in costume and they had a very good time. The refreshments of sandwiches, cake, punch, ice cream and candy was enjoyed by all. The two mines at Sunnyside were idle for Saturday and Monday for the men to go deer hunting and nearly all the men were on a hunt some place in the state. Work was resumed Tuesday and most of the men were back with their bucks and ready for work. Kimbal Blackburn is improving in the Dragerton hospital. He has been there for a week with spinal mengengitis in a very serious but has been on the improve the last few days. He is the seven-yeold son of Mr. and Mrs. Alt Blackburn of Sunnyside.' Mr. John Naylor is home again after spending a week in the Dragerton hospital.
